Second Project Meeting
Attica, 7-14.05.2013.
At the second meeting, twelve teachers from Kaunas visited Greece between 7 and 14 May 2013, to participate in project activities, which included an Olympic Education seminar, presentation of educational and sports facilities in North Attica, as well as a cultural event promoting Greek tradition.The seminar for Olympic Education was held at the Wine Museum in Kapandriti and the Museum for the Marathon Run in Marathon. On May 10, 2013 the Folklore Association of Women Polydendri and the Primary school of Polydendri organized a cultural evening, in honor of our Lithuanian guests. In the context of parallel social and cultural activities we visited Amfiaraeion in Kalamos, the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion, Kallimarmaron Stadium, Acropolis and the new Acropolis Museum. These visits caused unique feelings and all colleagues were fascinated by the Greek history and our cultural heritage.The first day of classes after the Easter holidays and last day of their stay here the Lithuanian colleagues visited the Primary School Polydendri.
