SOCIAL​ INTEGRATION

 

The third project meeting took place in Eastern Attica between16 and 22 October 2013. Twelve teachers from the partner organizations traveled from Kaunas to Athens. A seminar entitled "Non-traditional Physical Educations forms-dances and outdoor activities" was organized in the 26th & 29th Elementary Schools of Acharnes. The seminar highlighted the importance of dance and outdoor activities in developing healthy relationships and socialization of students. Moreover, the participants visited school units in eastern Attica and had the opportunity to watch Aristophanes' play "The Birds" in the small ancient theater of Dionysus. They were also guided in the Archaeological Museum of Vraurona, the OAKA Olympic Site, the historic center of Athens (Acropolis Museum, Acropolis, Plaka) and in the town of Nafplion.The last day of their stay in Greece the Lithuanian delegation visited the Primary School of Polydendri.
